The leap from FIFA 15 to FIFA 16 (Beta) made no sense at all in this version. AI opponents played at a realistic, though sometimes inhuman, pace. Player-controlled teams, however, appeared to Fifa 16 Coins move and react to controller input as if the team were stuck playing in quicksand, or maybe underwater with rocks in their pockets.
Kicking the ball around felt more like attempting to shove a giant stone around with one's feet.
